Hello all,

It’s that time of the year again when we begin preparing for the FY24 HUD CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Renewal applicants are required to complete a Letter of Intent  (LOI) form for funding in the 2024 CoC NOFO.

You may have multiple projects on one LOI, but you DO NOT need to create more than one letter. For organizations who are interested in applying for a new project please be sure to complete the new project application.  

Please be advised that new project applicants and renewal projects that are low performing will be required to present to the Ranking and Review Committee.

Letters of Intent and Pre-applications are due by May 24th, 2024, by 5:00pm to Shana Miller at [email protected] cc: Mar-quetta Boddie at [email protected].

Any applicant that does not conform to the submission deadlines may not be considered for review and/or submission with the 2024 Continuum of Care HUD application.

Please note:

• I have attached a LOI template that you can use for submission. Please copy the information on the template onto your agency letterhead and have it signed by the agency director.
• Attached is a blank preapplication for organizations looking to apply for a new project.
• Include a screenshot of your SAM’S registration showing that you are active.  https://usfcr.com/registrations/about-sam/
• Be sure to complete the HUD Housing First Assessment Tool attached.
• If you are intending to make any changes to your application, please schedule a meeting with Mar-quetta before May 21st.
