Donate Items
During the Annual Point In Time Count which is scheduled this year for the week of January 26th though January 30th volunteers will interview individuals at meal sites, libraries, drop-in centers, and outdoor encampments across Summit County, while trained outreach teams cover wooded areas, parks, and parking decks. This is required each year by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for every community across the nation.
Each person surveyed receives a backpack filled with shelf-stable food, hygiene products, and cold-weather gear, donated by local residents and partner organizations.
SCCoC is seeking:
Donations of new cold-weather gear, gloves, socks, hats, handwarmers, snacks, and hygiene items that can be found on a specially-created Amazon wish list at the link below:
