Christopher J. Richardson, M.Ed., LPC, LICDC-CS

Christopher Richardson is the Executive Director of the Summit County Continuum of Care, where he drives strategic initiatives to prevent and end homelessness through collaboration, innovation, and community-centered solutions.

With over 30 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction services, and healthcare, Mr. Richardson is known for strengthening organizations, expanding access to care, and delivering measurable results for vulnerable populations. Throughout his career, he has served in senior leadership capacities at Coleman Health Services, CHC Addiction Services, AxessPointe Community Health Centers, and Oriana House, Inc., contributing to the expansion of services and improved outcomes for individuals and families across Northeast Ohio.

Mr. Richardson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Education in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University, where he also served as an adjunct professor teaching courses in the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Program. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Dependency Counselor with Clinical Supervisor designation and a Professional Counselor.

A dedicated civic leader, he serves on the boards of Ardmore Inc., Kent State University Public Health Advisory Council and Kent State Rehabilitation Advisory Council.

He is a graduate of Torchbearers (Class of 2011) and Leadership Akron (Class 34), and his professional achievements include the 30 for the Future Award (2013), Torchbearers Distinguished Alumni Award (2019), and induction into the Trumbull County African American Achievers Hall of Fame (2020).

Above all, Mr. Richardson is deeply committed to serving others. He enjoys the daily work of walking alongside individuals and families on their journey toward stability and recovery and considers his leadership an extension of his faith and a calling to do God’s work through service to the community.

Mr. Richardson is married to his wife Darlene of 28 years. They have three children, Christian, 28, Courtnai, 26 and Camille, 20. They also have two dogs, Charlii and Clover.

Judy Hanna

Judy Hanna is the Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer for the Continuum of Care (CoC), ensuring housing providers deliver on their commitment to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness. She partners with community stakeholders to strengthen housing solutions and build resilient communities. With a background in higher education and labor advocacy, Judy brings expertise, insight, and a collaborative spirit to her work. Outside the office, she enjoys capturing the world through photography and spending time along the shores of Lake Erie.

Shana Miller

Director of Community Engagement

Shana Miller is the Director of Community Engagement for the Summit County Continuum of Care, where she drives outreach, builds partnerships, and shapes communication strategies to advance housing stability and systems change. She is passionate about creating collaborative solutions and amplifying lived-experience voices to improve outcomes for all. With a professional background in substance use disorder treatment, domestic violence, and child welfare in both Central Ohio and her hometown of Akron, Shana brings experience, insight, and heart to her work. A proud St. Vincent–St. Mary Fighting Irish alum and Buckeye, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved dachshund/yorkie, Vito.

Tyra Decatur

Youth Peer Navigator

Tyra Decatur is a dedicated Youth Peer Navigator, championing youth and young adults experiencing housing instability. She connects young people to resources, advocacy, and supportive services, helping them achieve both stability and emotional well-being. A proud alum of The Ohio State University with a background in African American and African Studies, Tyra brings a deeply rooted commitment to equity-centered, culturally responsive support. Passionate about mental health advocacy, she empowers youth to build confidence, resilience, and the skills for long-term self-determination.

Jada Moore

Youth Manager

Jada Moore serves as the Youth Manager for the Summit County Continuum of Care, where she leads and supports the Youth Advisory Board and advances youth-centered strategies to prevent and respond to homelessness. In this role, she oversees youth-focused initiatives, drives program development, coordinates grant efforts, and cultivates strong community partnerships to strengthen outcomes for young people.

Jada is deeply committed to elevating youth voice and ensuring lived experience informs policy, systems planning, and service delivery. With a strong background in youth advocacy, healthcare coordination, and customer service, she brings a holistic and collaborative approach to her work. Her leadership has contributed to securing significant funding that supports sustainable, responsive programming for youth across Summit County.

Outside of her professional role, Jada enjoys exploring a wide range of music genres and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
