The Homeward Collective
Together, We Are Moving from Conversation to Action
On behalf of the Summit County Continuum of Care, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Homeward Collective event.
Your presence was more than attendance—it was a powerful demonstration of what is possible when a community comes together around a shared vision: ensuring that every person in Summit County has the opportunity to find a safe, stable place to call home.
The energy, passion, and commitment displayed throughout the event reaffirmed something we have always known: meaningful change happens when people choose to work together.
Across our community, we are witnessing an extraordinary movement. Community-based organizations, faith-based partners, grassroots advocates, service providers, business leaders, public officials, and residents are joining forces to address homelessness and housing instability in new and innovative ways. The challenges before us are significant, but so is our collective determination.
What makes this moment different is that we are no longer simply discussing solutions we are building them.
Together, we are strengthening partnerships, expanding access to resources, supporting vulnerable neighbors, and creating pathways to housing and stability. We are seeing collaboration replace silos, action replace uncertainty, and hope replace despair.
The Homeward Collective event demonstrated that Summit County is filled with individuals and organizations willing to invest their time, talents, resources, and voices to make a difference. Every conversation held, every connection made, and every commitment offered brings us one step closer to a stronger, more responsive homeless response system.
As we move forward, we invite you to remain engaged. Whether you represent a nonprofit, a congregation, a neighborhood group, a business, or simply a resident who cares deeply about our community, there is a place for you in this work.
The road ahead will require continued collaboration, innovation, and persistence. But if the Homeward Collective event showed us anything, it is that Summit County is ready.
Ready to lead. Ready to partner. Ready to act.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for standing alongside us as we work toward a future where homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
Together, we are creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
With gratitude,
